Overview
A surgical automation tool designed to achieve 'Inbox Zero' for high-volume legacy accounts. Unlike standard filters, it performs deep historical sorting on 10-year legacies, categorising thousands of emails into secure, labeled structures without archiving or deleting. It provides absolute operational clarity without the risk of data loss.
The Origin Story
Inbox management was originally a manual VA task that consumed hours of focused time. When working in a client's inbox, you cannot simply 'delete' what you don't recognise. I built this to automate the decision-making process: using code to categorise the noise so the human only has to focus on the signals.
ROIReal-World Impact
Successfully cleared 10,000+ uncategorised threads in seconds. The system reclaims 5:10 hours of administrative effort per week by ensuring that every incoming signal is pre-labeled and context-aware.
Challenge
Founders with decade-old inboxes are often paralyzed by 'Digital Clutter'. Standard filters only handle new incoming mail, leaving thousands of historical threads uncategorised. The fear of deleting something important leads to a complete administrative bottleneck.
Solution
A production-grade script that executes batch-sorting via custom RegEx rules. It establishes a multi-layered labeling system that handles both historical legacies and new incoming mail. By setting deterministic triggers, it manages the inbox flow without hitting rate limits, ensuring a pristine environment for the founder.
Business Impact & Scalability
This project isn't just code; it's a strategic asset designed to eliminate operational friction and drive measurable conversion. By focusing on Google Apps Script and Gmail API, we ensured a foundation that scales with enterprise demand.
