A modern Next.js travel planning application powered by Google's Gemini AI. It acts as an intelligent travel agent, digesting flexible, natural language prompts and generating realistic flight and hotel itineraries complete with pricing, ratings, and reasoning.
Challenge
Travel planning is time-consuming, with users overwhelmed by unlimited choices and rigid search engines that can't handle flexible 'I want to go anywhere' requests or budget-based constraints.
Solution
An intelligent travel AI that uses Gemini 1.5 Flash to understand vague requirements (e.g., 'Warm place in October for £500') and returns concrete itineraries. The system handles multiple departure airports, auto-suggests destinations, and provides transparent JSON-based data parsing for real-time cost estimates and hotel amenities.
